Π14 brought Rrose back to Athens on Friday, the 18th of March 2016 at Six DOGS. Athens based podcast series ‘Beatnik’, and its crew: Sepho and Cue Ed joined forces with Nemmett and 3.14 from π electronics to support Rrose’s 2nd performance in Athens. Hailing from the United States, the Rrose project was born in 2011 with the release of three EPs and an album on the Sandwell District label. More releases followed on his own imprint ‘EUX’, while he also appeared on labels such as ‘Further records’ and ‘Stroboscopic Artifacts’. His very unique sound is also accompanied by a very unique ‘look’ on stage, inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s ‘Rrose Sélavy’ character from the 1920s.
